Truthfully – in my two decades of experimentation with the supernatural surfboard, my BEST advice for those aspiring to get a genuine reading is this:

Trust your instincts first. Remember, we all have innate intuition that WILL steer us right if we let it. Once you do that, and settle on a reader you like, the first 5 minutes SHOULD tell all. A genuine intuitive reader will tell you that they are human, make mistakes and that you play a significant role in the reading. ( the more open minded you are….the more receptive your “energy” is to read) That doesn’t mean of course, you should allow yourself to be gullible at all. Instead, it means that a GREAT reading is a two way street, and all advanced intuitives understand this inherently.

A reader who just starts shouting out facts that are a hodge podge of general, random stuff? I recommend you hang up the phone ( or leave if it’s in person) and move on! Don’t get down about it, and don’t reconsider everything you believe to be true. After all – if you have a bad experience with a doctor, you wouldn’t never go to another one, would you? Of course not! You’d just find someone better suited to your needs, wants and wishes. It’s really the same thing here…and the more time, energy and effort you spent honing and refining your inner “sensitive” by seeking out similar souls – the more powerful, purposeful and exciting your life will become!

He’s no relation to the singer and I know him because we used to hire him in my police precinct, when I was a cop, to find dead kids and such. He’s 87.5% accurate! The dogs are only like 50-50.

The WHOLE Truth About Psychic Abilities Is……

Psychic skills are a gift. But, they are often filtered through the interpretive lens of the person (and personality) of the reader who has them! Information needs to be interpreted, processed, understood…..and then COMMUNICATED. Often this is done on the spot, with no time allowed for understanding or interpretation. In other words, people who are paying for a reading don’t have the TIME to sit back and let the intuitive filter and understand exactly what they are seeing. Understandably…they want the information immediately, and instantly!

This poses an obvious problem that ANYONE should be able to see……

And of course, when it comes to mediumistic style communications (from the “other side”) often the medium is working with symbols and/or the ability of spirit to properly articulate what is they want to say. This can be challenging on a number of levels, and mistakes are made!

And don’t forget…..

Some psychic readers are just plain making it all up! As a matter of fact, while the above applies to just about every “authentic” psychic or intuitive that I’ve come across, there are others, who are simply WRONG…..because they aren’t really gifted in any real way to begin with. Okay….but what is a real medium anyway? Do they really talk to the dead…..or is it all a hoax?

Honestly? Some mediums ARE a hoax, and have no greater intuitive gift than I do! (which isn’t much..:-) But there are also many genuine mediums who have proven themselves over and over again, often under strict scientific controls, and have PROVEN, without question, to be doing “something” very special outside of the understanding of modern science.

The best psychic mediums are “talking” to the dead, from my perspective, and I’ve had a lot of AMAZING experiences to base that belief on (as have many of you I’m sure reading this article) Although in fairness to the skeptics, some scientists believe that some of the very skilled, accurate and HONEST mediums may actually have a psychic skill that is not yet understood. (It is called “super psi” by these skeptics, and they believe it could explain the amazing accuracy, without having to acknowledge they are actually having a conversation with spirits on the other side)

How do I find a genuine psychic myself? Do I need to hire someone famous, pay a lot of money or wait 6 months for an appointment?

No, you don’t….and I never have. (Although I have had one conversation with a really famous psychic, I wasn’t’ as impressed as you’d expect) The bottom line is this – if you do your due diligence, you CAN get a great reading, with an amazing psychic, without breaking the bank, or your budget. One or two of the major online networks have a GREAT screening process,and only hire very accurate, and proven mediums who are really affordable, and amazingly talented to boot!
