Many Doors – An Introduction to Mediumship with Hollister Rand
Product Description
Have you thought about connecting to loved ones in the afterlife? Are you interested in continuing relationships beyond what we call death? In MANY DOORS, Medium Hollister Rand takes listeners on a journey through the doors that separate life, death and life after life. Throughout this entire one hour experience, Hollister introduces the idea that life is divided by death, not ended by it. By opening the door in between, we bring eternity to the everyday. Through guided meditations, she creates a safe and healing space for making personal connections to those living on the other side of life. Exercises and affirmations, enhanced by Native American flute, encourage listeners to develop their own natural sensitivities. In addition, Hollister answers the most asked questions including: What is life like on the other side of death? What about good and evil? Is there a heaven and a hell? The exercises on this CD work for both beginners and those who are experienced. No matter where you are in your personal spiritual journey, there is an open door waiting for you.

Not as expected. Have tried to get appointment in person and she is hard to get into see. Have friends that have gone to her and highly recommend her as physic. She travels a lot and is in CA. I would be more prone to go with James Van Praugg

Why do so many teachers in our line of work feel they have to have music playing in the background while they teach? And why do so many of them use whining/humming/dissonant things like flutes? And WHY does this particular one have the music up as loud as or louder than her voice?
Presumably Hollister Rand likes flute music and/or expects her entire audience to as well. It doesn’t work that way.
Her voice seems like it would be very relaxing by itself. The flute in the background is very intrusive, and I found myself sneering when she talked about “eliminating extraneous noises” in preparation for meditation. If a teacher feels he/she must have music playing, it should be subtle and soothing instead of the trills and frills and runs up and down of the flute on this CD.
The interview tracks don’t have it, but I didn’t buy the CD for the interviews — not to be tacky, but there wasn’t anything there that was news to me; I bought the CD for the meditations and it’s useless to me, because I have to listen so intently all the way through, just to separate her voice from the background music, that I can’t relax into the exercises. It’s a shame because I’d heard she was good — I just can’t tell it from this CD.
Don’t waste your money.

This is a thoughtful, well-produced, comfortable introduction to mediumship and the world of spirit. I got this CD at a live demonstration that Hollister did in Los Angeles, where I went in as a skeptic, and came out with my mind expanded.
She’s the real deal, and the insights and affirmations on this disc can be helpful, regardless of your level of development or expertise in this area of experience. I’m new at this stuff, but I can see this being a resource I come back to over and over. The material may be the same, but *you* change over time.
Plus, the music is good for floating away…

I have listened to this CD many times now. There is always something to learn. Each listen leads me to a different realization and understanding of Spirit. The soft yet commanding voice will allow you to proceed through the guided meditations with ease. I would recommend this CD for those who are interested in learning more about the “Other Side” and for those who are interested in connecting to “Spirit”. Many blessings – Ed Torres
