YES! do not do that! That will ruin the imprint a lot. Just run some water on it.
No….the imprint is in the piece itself not the dust or dirt…
If that were the case, there would be no such thing as “pyschometry”…since most objects are cleaned in some fashion at some point in time…
The only thing cleaning the object would do is lift off any hand prints.
If someone from the past were attached to a piece of furniture, cleaning it won’t keep away anything that is allegedly haunting it.
no destroying or moving the object might thou
No, it wouldn’t.
I’m not sure. it would depend if the coin was haunted its self. that’s just a guess.
Clean or polish away. You may get rid of fingerprints, but there is no such thing as “psychic imprints”
Numerous blinded tests on “psychics” have shown that they are unable to identify objects belonging to a specific person any more than random guessing would allow.
No, cleaning or polishing an object will not remove what you call “imprint”. That imprint is actually residual energy left on an object by anybody who has touched it…the longer it is handled by a person, the more energy is left on it.
I’d be very curious to see links to sources that apparently confirm that “psychics” could not identify the owner of a specific object, though. A general statement like that should be easily backed up with references.
I’ve included a link below, FYI, with a list of people who have been tested rigorously for this ability to interpret the energy left by previous owners with very positive results. This ability is very real and some people do have a natural talent for it. I’ve also included a link that can give you a couple of methods for psychometry that you can experiment with, if you wanted to begin developing your own sensitivity.
