This is a complete tarot deck with 78 cards, structured in the same format as all traditional decks, but bringing a new mystique and story to the figures on each card. Kuykendall’s art has been influenced by her extensive study in European, Mexican & southwestern U.S. art history as well as her love for the history of costume. Her friends & colleagues affectionately refer to her as “The Cat Lady”. Exotic, playful, strange — felines of all different forms and species populate these cards, alongside dark & wonderful people with elaborate costumes, jewelry, headdresses, and makeup.
